We hope that you’ve had a great holiday and are feeling refreshed! I’ve personally always felt that the start of the year is always full of optimism and promise. It presents a brilliant opportunity to reflect on the past and make improvements as we enter the new year. Well, make no mistake, 2018 is here and in full swing! One of the first few things we’ve done is set up our calendar, circling important dates like public holidays 😉 and planning for the year ahead.
Jokes aside, spending a few minutes to go over a calendar gives you an opportunity to think about activities that can work with your current promotions and create some ideas for communication. In doing this, you’ve developed a strategy to engage with your existing patients whilst attracting new patients.
Let’s take a look back at 2017, think about some of the key days like “World Orthodontic Health Day” which would have been a great opportunity to raise awareness about your orthodontic services and offerings by sharing them on your website and social media platforms. School holidays also present a great opportunity to get kids into your practice and utilising the Child Dental Benefit Scheme.
But how do you get started? Easy, we’ve created that calendar for you so you can hit the ground running!All you have to do is Download the iCal file, and Import the iCal file to your Calendar. Start allocating your promotional activities accordingly!
To make things simple, we’ve colour coded the dates on the calendar.

Red – School Holidays
Yellow – Public Holidays
Green – Key Dental Conferences
Dark Purple – Unofficial Notable days / Health Weeks
Light Purple – Social events
Grey – Sporting Events
